So what are the common causes of the oil blockage of the screw air compressor?
1. The surrounding environment of the air compressor. There are corrosive gases in the environment around the air compressor, such as sulfide, thinner water, cleaning chemicals, etc. volatilize in the air in some occasions. The high temperature of the machine itself accelerates the oxidation of the oil. Once these gases enter The air compressor system reacts with the engine oil chemically, resulting in carbon deposits and sludge. Some impurities enter the engine oil circulation system and are intercepted by the oil filter, and another part of the impurities rises to the oil as the gas passes through the oil. These impurities are retained when the gas passes through the oil. On the oil filter paper, the filter holes are blocked, and the resistance of the oil is gradually increased, so that the oil needs to be replaced in a relatively short period of time.
2. Qualified air filter, oil filter, and engine oil are not used, one or more of them exist. Air filters with poor filtration accuracy will prevent some of the dust particles in the air from being intercepted, and will directly enter the air compressor system. The oil filter and oil are overloaded and cause blockage; impurities, oil oxides, and wear entering the air compressor system Due to the poor filtration accuracy of oil filter, some of the intercepted oil filter is on the filter layer, and the other part of the impurities circulates in the machine until it rises to the oil. After separation, they stay in the oil filter layer, causing the oil to be blocked prematurely; Engine oil with poor oxidation resistance should not be used. Even if the working time is short, it will produce carbon deposits and jelly, which will block the oil.
3. There is a leak in the pipeline between the air filter and the air inlet of the main engine. The common causes of leakage are: the air filter is not installed properly; the contact area of the air filter assembly is uneven; the contact surface of the air filter and the assembly has dirt attached to it, causing leakage; the elastic contact pad on the air filter surface is skewed ; Air filter or air filter assembly rupture, etc.
4. Excessive moisture on the oil filter material causes the filter material to swell and shrink the micropores, which reduces the effective separation area of the oil, which leads to an increase in oil resistance and premature blockage of the oil.
